Extraneous ramen

 

There are various types of ramen in Japan.

There is something like ramen in Japan that does not fit in the frame of ramen.

That name is called "Champon".

Champagne is thicker noodles than ramen, soup is unique, more than anything, vegetables are used abundantly as ingredients.

Nagasaki prefecture of Japan is the birthplace of Champon.

Nagasaki Prefecture was the only window opened to the world while Japan was isolating in the Edo period.

Perhaps it is one of the reasons why Champon was invented.

If you are a traveler without a history of staying in Japan, knowing Champon, you are deemed to be familiar with Japan.
