Classic Bodybuilding Pose - Lat Spread
I don't often make fitness posts on Steemit, so I thought it was time to do an update. Here is a set of recent photos of me.
You'll see that I naturally have a narrow frame, but by flexing my latissimus dorsi muscles (a.k.a. "lats), I can make my shoulders appear wide. This is one of the classic bodybuilding poses.
You will also notice that in the upper photos the background is very busy, so I am not well defined against it. However, in the lower photo, there is strong backlight so I am more of a silhouette which clearly defines my shape.
