Shia Clerics Pimping Out Children For Sex
Nikah mut' ah literally means "pleasure marriage" which is practiced primarily in Twelver Shia Islam. But why are Shia clerics pimping out children for sex?

The BBC recently produced a documentary about Shia Muslim clerics in Iraq pimping out young children for sex in an Islamically acceptable way. The broadcasting of this documentary caused an upset within certain sections of the Shia Islamic community. Professional offence merchants castigated the BBC and scornfully asserted that they had deliberately misled the public and as a consequence of that, an inevitable rise in "Islamophobia" will ensue. We can to a point empathise with any charges made against the BBC for "misleading" the public because they can, and they do. As with any documentary or article, one should take each on a case by case basis. People should research the "facts" and then come to a conclusion as to whether an article or documentary is fake-news, bias news or legitimate news.
Seeking The Truth In A Grey Area
Mut' ah marriages are better known as "pleasure marriages", it's origin does not come directly from Shi'ism but from the Quran, the hadith and pre-Islamic Medina. For example, men used to "seek companionship" with women for short periods of time. Horney sand-dwellers and travelling merchants needed some "relief" time with beautiful religiously chaste women whenever the time "arose".
As with any religious texts and Arabic words, there can be different interpretations. However, there does seem to be some kind of consensus on the word istimta, which in Arabic means "to derive benefit/pleasure". Istimta - Muhammad Was Ok With
In addition to the Quran, allowing for temporary or "pleasure" marriages, there are authentic Sahih hadith that corroborate this interpretation too. Take, for example, Sahih Muslim book 8:3243 which says:
"We were on an expedition with Allah's Messenger (PBUH) and we had no women with us. We said: Should we not have ourselves castrated? He (the Holy Prophet) forbade us to do so. He then granted us permission that we should contract temporary marriage for a stipulated period giving her a garment."

Where Shia and Sunni Muslims disagree today (in the most part but not exclusively) is that Shia still believes in Nikah mut' ah whereas Sunnis tend to believe that it was later refuted in the Quran - Surah Mu' minun ayats one through to six.
To put that in plain English, Muhammad allowed temporary marriage, his closest companions the sahaba agreed that the Quran allowed for "pleasure marriages". It was only until the ruling of the second Kalifa that "temporary/pleasure marriages" became haram for the vast majority of Sunnis.
Shia stuck with temporary marriages, Sunnis in the most part turned away from them, but that does not mean ALL Sunni Muslims did, they did not.
The Hypocrisy Of The BBC And Islam
The documentary makers of the BBC exposing Shia clerics prostituting young children has been lauded as a brave and necessary thing to do. We agree with that premise on its face, pimping out children is as disgusting and as depraved as you can get, it makes the perfect case for capital punishment.
Some of the professionally offended halal prostitution lobby criticised the BBC for misleading the public which will increase "Islamophobia". Do they have a point? Well, the documentary does expose the religious pimping of young girls which puts "temporary marriage" in a bad light. When temporary or pleasure marriages are looked at within the context of Muhammad and his closest followers who confirmed such practices were allowed, then perhaps these complaints do have some legitimacy?

Temporary Marriage And Raping Newborn Babies
Apart from critiquing a hypocritical shift in the BBC's stance on temporary/pleasure marriages, we have to point out what they left out back in 2013 and in this years documentary. The BBC somehow managed to avoid reporting on a most depraved, stomach-churning, disgusting, pedophilic practice. The act of "thighing". This act relates specifically to "temporary/pleasure marriages".
For those who have no idea what we are about to talk about, we will be brief and to the point. The act of "thighing" is when an adult male can place his aroused erect penis in between the "thighs" of a baby, an infant or a child to masturbate himself into an orgasm and achieve ejaculation.

Ruling # 12: It is not permission to have intercourse before (her) being 9 years old, be it in nikah (permanent marriage) or temporary marriage. And as for all other pleasures such as lustful touch, embracing, and thighing, there is no problem in it even with a suckling infant. If he does have sexual intercourse before nine years of age and does not penetrate, there is no penalty, but he has committed a sin. If he does penetrate causing the vagina and urethra openings to be one, she will become forever haram for him, but this is as a precaution. And it is more probable that her status as his wife is not removed. And the rulings of inheritance, and the prohibition of a fifth wife or marriage to her sister applies. And it is waajib upon him for her maintenance as long as she is alive, even if he divorces her and even if she marries after divorcing her as a precautionary measure. And it is waajib upon him for blood money for the penetration and the amount is equivalent to that of an individual. If she is a free-woman, the amount is half that of a man, plus the dowry that she became entitled to through the `aqd and penetration.
