Obernberger See - Lake Obernberg

Heute gegen Mittags waren @dagmar-tirol und ich am Obernberger See und haben das tolle Herbstwetter genossen. Wie der Namen schon verrät liegt der See bei der Gemeinde Obernberg im Wipptal.

Today around noon @dagmar-tirol and I were at the Obernberger See and enjoyed the great autumn weather. As the name suggests, the lake is located near the community of Obernberg in the Wipptal valley.

Wir sind von Hall aus ca. 30 min mit dem Auto nach Obernberg bis zum Parklpatz des Sees gefahren. Am Besten fährt man auf der Brennerautobahn A13 Richtung Brenner bis zur Ausfahrt Matrei am Brenner. Von da aus auf der Bundesstrasse nach Grieß am Brenner, dort nehmt ihr die linke Abzweigung nach Obernberg. In Obernberg angekommen fährt ihr Straße bis ihr Ende, dort ist der Parkplatz. Der Parkplatz kostet € 2,50 für 3 Stunden, jede weitere
Stunde kostet € 0,20.

From Hall we drove approx. 30 min by car to Obernberg to the parking lot of the lake. The best way is to take the A13 Brenner motorway in the direction of Brenner until you reach the Matrei am Brenner exit. From there take the main road to Grieß am Brenner, where you take the left turn to Obernberg. When you arrive in Obernberg, take the road to its end, where you will find the parking lot. The parking lot costs € 2,50 for 3 hours, each additional hour costs € 0,20.

Der Tribulaun im See gespiegelt - The Tribulaun mirrored in the lake

Vom Parkplatz geht man ungefähr eine halbe Stunde bis zum See. Für die Umrundung des See benötigt man eine gute Stunde.Das Wetter war für den Herbst einfach perfekt, es hatte am See angenehme 18°C.

From the car park you walk about half an hour to the lake. For the circumnavigation of the lake, one needs a good hour. The weather was simply perfect for the autumn, it had a pleasant 18°C at the lake.

Der Obernberger See ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, den man nicht bereuen wird.
