The Borrowed- (a poem by tom balistreri)
Material things
in life aren’t mine.
All is borrowed,
even time.
Only love
can one possess.
And give to all,
for happiness.
Material things
in life aren’t mine.
All is borrowed,
even time.
Only love
can one possess.
And give to all,
for happiness.
It turns out humans don't have anything. All loans from God. Only love for God can save humanity at the end of time.
Then, what do we boast about?
I think, we are in a big loss right now if we are far from God.
Thanks for sharing, Sir.
Hi @tombalistreri, I totally agree with you, the feelings are shared, they feed, they leave traces, the material is ephemeral.
Material things simply satisfy our needs, that is their function
So truth words just great moments and experiences can be holded for you and you soul. Regards
Magnificent poem
Knowing that we do not own anything, that at the time of leaving the land, none of those material things, we take, people are still worried about treasuring and having more and more, sometimes even leaving aside the close beings and even goodbye.
