What will this do for GPU mining?
AMD's Radeon Pro SSG just announced an experimental graphics card that packs 1TB of SSD memory, and it's very possible this may become common place in the very near future.
For the first time, they are placing a solid-state drive inside a graphics card with the idea that as file sizes get larger - more fast access memory and storage are needed for GPUs to rapidly process and display graphics.
They are looking at advancements in Virtual Reality and Gaming as the main reason for building these advancements but I'm looking at it from a GPU miner's perspective.
What are the possiblities with a rig like this lined up with instead of the typical 8GB cards of today but instead with this supercharged GPU? It could be really change mining operation for currencies like Ethereum.

I personally believe that the GPU manufacturers need to focus on the mining community. GPUs are designed for graphics and optimized for that purpose. However miners like me use older drivers and specific cards work trying to find the sweet spot to maximize mining performance. The mining community buys the bulk of the high end video cards. I would sure think that a company like ASUS or MSI would take notice and design GPU models and drivers just for the crypto community.
I agree... but the mainstream media is still only scratching the surface of what blockchain and crypto currenncies are going to bring into the future.
High end video cards are hard to find n bulk and they still are getting that it's not from just a bunch of gamers.
