This video jumps into my first impression of Smoke.io after the first 48 hours.
The interaction and support on the Smoke.io blockchain has blown my mind in a short time. Smoke.io feels fresh and vibrant. I'm very impressed with the overall build and structure of the platform and feel it's only going to get better from here.

Lots of talk has been going around about if a niche blockchain about cannabis is to niche.
I believe there will be many various niche blockchain projects in the future, this just happens to be the first. Steemit itself is a pretty niche platform too when it comes down to what's supported heavily on a common basis. Yes, there are people who break the rules but in general crypto, blockchain, dapp development and Steemit based content gets the most support.
Being a artist on Steemit ( music ) I've fought up stream and still to this day, 10 months later at Rank 67 I get almost NO support via direct Steemit users. Almost all my support comes from the niche dapps within the Steemit system. So in the end niches are good.
I don't think reaching out into the cannabis community as a main source of new users is limiting at all.
I'm not sure if it's the concept of a brand new blockchain, no voting bots or just the fact we're all pot heads. Something about the system feels pure, legit and the interactions/voting you see already is mind boggling. Smoke.io feels fresh and full of energy while the members all seem to support each other in ways that older blockchains seem to have forgotten or can't do because of sheer size.
I'm really amped to see what blockchain projects will evolve in the future. So far Steemit and Smoke are by far my 2 favorite projects I've had a chance to use. This is just the start of the blockchain era, so many projects will pop up in the next 5 years.
I need to thank ANYONE who has supported my work in the past, present or future. It means the world to my content, music and life.

I have heard about it. Not really my niche but it is a community that have been expanding and growing so I think it is good that there is a specific place where stoners can get together 😉 more power to them 😀

100%, not for everyone but I feel all niches will have a little blockchain in time !@
True. My biggest concern is that too many tokens will be coming out and none will be able to grow positively in the market 😀

I don't think that will be a issue at all. I see a place for lots of niche tokens. The strong ones will stay the weak will go the way of Myspace . Time will tell everything I guess
