Who Is Jerry Banfield And Why Shouldn't I Vote Him As Witness?

This is my second month on Steemit and Jerry Banfield has been tending. In one of his post some days ago, telling how to improve the STEEM currency, I thought it was okay not until I see people's comment and a post by @firepower. That got me thinking, hence, I need to know what Jerry has done. Please I need all steemians to tell me what I need to know about him.
