Movie of the Day: The Mole Song - 土竜の唄

I usually don't enjoy Japanese movies so much, as they tend to be over-the-top, poorly acted, and in general pretty boring... I do however love movies that are purpusely over-the-top and over-acted. The Mole Song is one of them.
The premise is simple: A young cop, despite his good intentions, is bad at his job. He is officially removed from the force, only to become part of an undercover operation trying to take down a Yakuza organisation. As such, he infiltrates a local chapter.
What follows is ridiculous encounters after ridiculous events, nothing makes sense, everybody is ridiculous, and it is amazing. Absolutely amazing!!
