Artwork Created By Fans: Part II
Hello everybody!!!
Truth be told, the title of the post is not very accurate in this case but since I started the mini-series (there will be one more) with this title I decided to keep it.
The specific portrait was created by the ONE AND ONLY Cristina!!! I can't remember her last name as I would like to give her full credit for the creation of this awesome drawing that served as my avatar at provocateur.gr (I used to write for them too. The Greeks can check out my articles there)
Now it serves as my avatar here, on Steemit. She did a FANTASTIC job, didn't she?

They were cool guys (well, most of them) and everything but for our bad luck I received an offer from ranker.com a few months later that I couldn't say no. I mean, for one article @ ranker I made more money than writing 10 articles for provocateur (I am not exaggerating). I am still in good terms with most of the guys though (the original team is split btw, most are gone now).
Does this in particular ring any bells? It could be an Elle's or Cosmopolitan's article no? lol

You did great! Most of the sites don't pay much.. That's the horrible truth. So we have to adapt for our best :)
Your article couldn't be more to the point!! I like your style and I agree with your opinions! In fact I have written an article on similar content for a site and it was censored :P How pathetic right?
Censorship of any kind is pathetic, no doubt about that!!! In reality my mission was to awake the straight (normal) people not to compliment gays but very few realized that.
And yep, Greek websites and mags pay pennies compared to some checks I've receieved from the US and Germany.
That's true! Oh salaries in Greece right now are horrible.. This is ridiculous.. My first (part time) job when I was 19 payed me the same as my last (full time) job one year ago..
One of my first part time jobs (not related to writing) in Athens at 19 (do you remember Jackson Hall at Kolonaki?) made me x3 the money I made as a lawyer and working from Monday to Friday 9 to 20:00. I am serious!!!! Then the kind of money I made at 20 working in Pisa's biggest nightclub, I never ever made again (maybe once again). Αστα...περασμενα μεγαλεια διηγωντας τα να κλαις 😂
Jackson Hall had the best pasta I've ever tasted!! I used to go there with my best friend -instead of going to the university- to eat lol! Πραγματικά τραγική αυτή η σύγκριση... Είναι όπως ακριβώς το είπες, περασμένα μεγαλεία.. Φτάσαμε στα 30+ που θεωρητικά τα πράγματα θα έπρεπε να έχουν γίνει καλύτερα και αναπολούμε τις πρώτες μας δουλειές.. Καλά να 'μαστε, καλή καρδιά και καλά κρασία :P
Γιατι το αλλο που σπουδασαμε και καναμε μεταπτυχιακα και ατελειωτη θητεια στο στρατο (εσυ τυχερουλα οχι) και φαγαμε 500 χρονια σε σπουδες και εξειδικευση για το τπτ; Καλα κρασια δεν λες τπτ!!!😂
Και ναι ειχε φοβερη κουζινα το JH. Και τα burgers του τα καλυτερα εκεινη την εποχη (τωρα σου λεω τελη 90ς και αρχες 00ς) που burger εβρισκες μονο στα McDonalds και Goodys τα κλασσικα τυποποιημενα. Ο chef εκει τοτε, εχει εδω και καποια χρονια ανοιξει μια καταπληκτικη pasteria στην πλατεια Ειρηνης. School Bar λεγεται, ειναι κοντα στο Faust. ΠΟΛΥ καλο μαγαζι με φοβερη πιτσα και ολων των ειδων μακαροναδες.
Αλλα ναι Jackson Hall ηταν αλλη φαση. Γενικα η φαση Κολωνακι και κεντρο Αθηνα τοτε ηταν ΠΟΛΥ καλα. Τωρα οπου κοιταξεις λαθρεποικους και αναρχοφασιστες. Σορυ αλλα μου βγαινει λιγο το παραπονο οπως το εχουν καταντησει το κεντρο που ειναι ο καθρεφτης της πρωτευουσας και ειναι για κλαμματα πλεον.
