BLOCKCHAIN FORUM FOR AFRICAN LADIES
Technology is for us all and we all have a place in it. If blockchain is the solution to decentralization, then every one has to get involved including ladies and children. Blockchain is a technology less understood by the public and every event organized to promote knowledge about it is welcomed and goes a long way to send it to mainstream. I saw a post by @destinysaid yesterday about a group of vibrant ladies dedicated to learning and sharing about the revolutionary blockchain technology. I was taken aback by how vibrant the community was. The community is very vibrant with many upcoming program dedicated to the cause of promoting blockchain knowledge to Ladies in Africa.
BAL is a nonprofit educational organization that offers free education on blockchain technology to African women via conferences, workshops, and webinars. The premier blocktech women conference was organized in Nigeria and brought into focus the consciousness of African women towards the low hanging fruits of the blockchain technology. The conference attracted many all African women within and outside the jurisdiction which was Nigeria. A replica of the event is happening live in Accra, Ghana coming August. Though the name sound feminine, males are also welcome to attend.
The conference is an opportunity to make new friends in the crypto world. There is a popular saying that goes "if you are in a group of 10 poor friends, you are the 11th poor member". As such your association determines how things will turn out for you.
