DTUBE Film Summary
Minds.com is now monetized with the Ethereum blockchain. Now you get off chain tokens, which can be transferred to on chain Ethereum Coins via MetaMask wallets and likely others as well. I happen to use Metamask so that was easy for me. I will show you on Steemit show notes link below how and where to check your coins.
Basically works like this: for every 1000 points on minds, that you use to get for using the platform and such to boost your posts. Now every 1000 points is a token, and those tokens are held off the blockchain, to turn them into ethereum you spend some as gas, and the rest ends up in your wallet. Welcome to the future of social media, where it pays you to use the platform just like steemit. This type of gamified system is the future.

I've been using DTube for about two weeks now and I love how it's very similar to YouTube. Having a platform that is similar to something that a large amount of people already use would make a smooth transition over to DTube. As more and more begin to use DTube, I was wondering if Steemit (or DTube) plan to use advertisement from large companies as another way of monetization on the platform.
Yes, monetization provides a major piece of motivation for people to move. YouTube censoring their own platform so heavily is another.

What's your comparison of minds.com and steemit in terms of faster monetary gain?
Steemit is probably better for making money, especially as a content creator, however as a viewer or someone who just reads other peoples stuff, you would make more on minds. Just depends on how you use each platform.
Thanks for the heads up. I joined a while ago but didn't find my niche. I'm not sure if I am just too overwhelmed by steemit to put that much into another platform or if it's harder to make friends there. Any tips on doing well there?
