We present ChainFORM: a linear, modular, actuated hardware system as a novel type of shape changing interface. Using rich sensing and actuation capability, this modular hardware system allows users to construct and customize a wide range of interactive applications.
ChainFORM is a top notch hardware system which presents programmer with an option to program it into performing different task with multiple shape abilities. It offers touch detection on it various interface and it is equipped with a micro controller with servo motor on each module.
