Add phone replicate tab, picture upload button,shake device to send files option, share mobile data option and set connection password on trebleshot application

Trebleshot is an open source android application that allows you to share music files, videos files, image files and application files across trebleshot platform. With trebleshot application you get to connect with another user in other to share this files.

Component.

The component that I will be proposing are:

• Phone replicate tab,
• Picture upload tab,
• Shake device to send file option,
• Share mobile data option,
• Set connection password.

Phone replicate

Phone replicate option is an option that facilitate the transfer of an old device files into a new device with few clicks. With a phone replicate option, a use gets to select the old mobile and the new mobile. It practically replicates all your data from one device to another.

Picture upload tab.

Going through trebleshot profile display you'll notice that there is no option for a user to practically upload an avatar to the picture icon rather the picture icon derives a profile image from the first alphabet of your device name. Having a picture upload button attach to that section will enable a user to upload his desire image file which will display close to his device name.

Shake device option

A shake device option is an option that enables a user to send files across trebleshot by simply shaking his device after a file has been selected.

Share mobile data option.

Share mobile data option is very useful because it is an option that enables the sharing of mobile data among users. This option is necessary because if toggled off it will prevent the user from consuming the mobile data of another user while sharing files.

Set connection password.

A set connection password as the name implies is simply an option that requires the use of password before a connection can be established. With this feature a user gets to set his connection password which will be required before a connection can be access.

Proposal

My proposal lies on the development of some features that I believe will help make trebleshot application a better and more sophisticated mobile application.
Developers of trebleshot open source application should develop and attach 5 features to help improve the abilities of the application.

1. Phone replicate tab,
2. Picture upload tab,
3. Shake device to send file option,
4. Share mobile data option,
5. Set connection password.

The above mentioned feature should be developed and implemented by the developers.

• A phone replicate option should be added to the pan that displays when a user slides through the left side of his mobile screen. When this feature is clicked it should ask a user to choose between an old device or a new device so that a primary device can be set which will act as the new device. When this two devices has be chosen, a connection should be created which will allow the user to transfer all his files from the old device to the new one without having to selection them one after the other.

• Picture upload button should be situated close to where the device display name is shown, it should be a feature that access the media directory on a users mobile device so that he can select his desired image file before uploading.

• Shake to send file option should be created in a way that it can be toggled on or off. This feature when toggled on should be able to send a seleted file across trebleshot platform when a user shakes his mobile device. This option should be added to the preferences section on trebleshot.

• Share mobile data should be added as an option under the preferences tab, it should be a feature that can be toggled on or off. Share mobile data tab when toggled on should be able to give access to the mobile data of a primary device to the secondary device so that he can access the mobile data on his device. When toggled off, trebleshot should restrict the access of a users mobile data regardless of the data status on a users mobile. (even if the mobile data of a user is turned on)

• Set connection password should also be added to the preferences tab on trebleshot application. This feature should present the user with a text filled in which he can input his desired password. The character shouldn't be too long so that a user can get to memorize it. This feature should require a users password before any connection can be established.

Benefits

The above mentioned features are self explanatory, they are features that will grant users more options to ease and make their experience on trebleshot fun. This features will also be a great boost to trebleshot application because it will grant users more functional features.

Having a phone replicate option will enable the user a much more easy way to practically replicates his mobile phone and it will reduce the tedious work involved in having to copy each files from one mobile device to another.

With the help of an upload button, the application interface will be improved and users will be able to change their profile pictures at any given time

A shake to send file option will be a blessing to the users of trebleshot, it will present the users with a very fast and reliable way to send their files by simply shaking their mobile devices after a desired file has been selected.

A share mobile data option will be more useful. Through this feature a user will not be worried if his mobile data is on or not. In a situation whereby a user wants to share his files without sharing his mobile data, this option will present him with a feature that can give him more control on his mobile data sharing. Through this feature a user can also share his mobile data with friends when the feature is turned on.

Set connection password when added will give the user more security over who connects to his device. Through this feature, before a connection can be established it will require the user's password. This feature will enable the user to choose a desire character which will act has his connection password before any connection can be established.
