The Dolder Tower is a 13th century watchtower in the town of Riquewihr, France, along the Alsace wineroute. Riquewihr was one of the few towns of the region that was not badly damaged during WWII, so the way it looks today is very similar to how it looked in the 16th century. The tower, that was built in 1291, is part of a fortified wall that was integral in protecting the vibrant town. With it's many colourful half-timbered houses, Riquewihr is considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in France.
