Can the Cloud, Steemit, Crowdsourcing, and Decentralized entities make tech hubs like Silicon Valley unnecessary?

Every day, month, and year things are moving away from centralization and I believe they are now moving at warp speed.

EXAMPLES

Cloud technology
-Video business meetings with multiple staffers from multiple locales.
-Share and edit files with co-workers at anytime. Never have to go back to the office for a file again at 1am.
-Work on group projects over the computer without being in office.
-Secure file storage (no need for files onsite).

Decentralized projects in Bitcoin & Blockchain
-OpenBazaar, a decentralized marketplace with no corporate headquarters. There is no centralized governance like Ebay and other e-commerce platforms. Users buy and sell peer to peer. Crypto is accepted eliminating banks and credit card processors. If OpenBazaar takes off it would give centralized e-commerce marketplaces a run for their money. Ebay currently employs 11,500 people according to online sources. With a decentralized marketplace it would be a fraction of that if any - really only developers would be in charge instead of CEOs & CFOs. While an Ebay employee pays 3000/month to live near headquarters in SF an OpenBazaar person pays whatever they are comfortable with in the locale they choose.

Steemit
What we have been witnessing in the last few months is a complete revolution! Right now there is a post going ballistic by @guerrint - as I am writing this it is $7,152 in 7 hours and the content is a youtube video about make-up. Normally a content provider on youtube would not be able to bring in that kind of money in 7 hours. She has no boss, no office to report to, and has complete control over her content. Content creators, artists, writers, musicians, etc can use Steemit without be controlled by any form of centralization.

Web development
My own experience on the last few projects I have worked on has been completely decentralized. I have worked with developers from my laptop, only meeting once or twice during a two month period to complete the project. We met the clients expectations and used things like google docs, skype, and text to make it happen. We did not need to be with each other day in and day out to make it happen.

Crowdsourcing
Crowdsourcing can be for anything and is extremely effective with little or no organization. Crowdfunding fits here to.

It will be interesting to watch where all of this goes but I say yes. Definitely interested to hear others opinions.

Yes, eventually everything will be decentralized, I think. It is the pathway to the IoT and the singularity, which is inevitable.

Very interesting! I like it! Good luck to you!
