Exploring Indonesia
Welcome back my Steemian friends!
It's been a whole week now since I am back to Steemit and finally also on Appics and I have to confess, I really missed it. Heard it many times but it's always a nice feeling to see it: Once a Steemian, always a Steemian.
As for now I am preparing some new TimTravels posts which I will post next week. In the meantime, I will continue to share my selected photographs with you.
Exploring Indonesia
While I was in Indonesia I rented a scooter to explore my surroundings. I spent sometimes hours of driving just to find an interesting place. One day I found such a place, in the middle of nowhere. There was this huge bridge was built over a river. You could see that the bridge was old, rusty and on some spots even had holes. I was afraid to cross it by scooter so I decided to walk. Left and right there was just depth, waiting for you to make a wrong step.
What really amazed me is how well the bridge blends into its environment. Nature literally took back what it owns as the trees and plants started to grow over the bridge.
What do you think is the man doing there?

Fabulous shot! I also love how the surroundings blend right in! Its always amazing to find awesome things when your not even looking for them!!
Sometimes I discover things just after I took the picture. It’s a nice surprise :)
Indonesia is like that though. Untouched simple beauty both in environment and people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. On which island was this taken?
Crossing the bridge of course. Looks like it's also a train or tram track?
It used to be a train track I guess, not sure though. The bridge was quite small. It was in Lombok :)
I remember back then when you do your steemit mypictureday contests, participated in them tho but..... 2as I really love your photography. Am a fan 💯
It was quite competitive lol :D
Thank you my friend! I will for sure come up with something new for Appics!
Interesting, I would be waiting hehehe
Thanks for sharing this photo with us. That’s what amazes me about photography all the time. Catching unique situations like this one. I guess he‘s transporting something on his bike from A to B without the „western world“ stress. Did you prefer Lombok over Bali?
This symmetry 😱😱😱😱 love it so much ❤
wow a spectacular bridge, the man I thinks goes to his home?
Looks amazing! Very close to nature..
