One thing that separates Steemit from other social networking platforms is the fact that when I first signed up last December, I didn't know anyone else on here. I had to make new friends as it were. This is something that may seem strange to do in their adult life. Making friends is often the object of childhood. Fortunately, meeting new people is one of my favorite pastimes, and there have been plenty of such on here.
In the past day or so, my number of followers has reached the 500 mark. In preparation for this, I have put together a website that presently contains my life story that can be accessed
here, or from the link in my profile. There will probably be other additions to it as time goes on, such as more illustrations. Besides, I have wanted to get back into working with HTML, and learning some other coding languages. Having a website is a good place to practice.
With that, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my material, and follow me.

I've seen a number (59) written next to your username (every user has a random number), how did you reach to this number (mine is 42 - very less, than yours). Is it because you invested money in Steem?
I am only good at Nutrition and I make videos and share tips about health and fitness (mainly focus to women and men) etc... (if go to any of my posts you will come to know what I'm talking about...) but if you say me to do anything else I may not be able to do that as I'm not good at other things. The question is if I share what I am good at to help people to stay healthy and fit. What's the best way to do it on Steemit? Based on your experience can you share something?
The number represent your reputation score. New accounts start with 25, and increase as the user participates on the platform through publishing and curating, not by purchasing steem. Getting flagged will lower your reputation, so there is an incentive to not be combative with other users.
The best way to share your gift on Steemit is to publish on a regular basis, and use specific tags in your post to direct users to your content. From there, you can take the time to get to know other people who are willing to consider the value of nutrition, and personally direct them to your posts.
These are the things I would do.

@timothyb Hey I came to know that members pay to bots to get upvotes. Could you please let me know is it something you know and can share so that I do this correctly.
Which bots are more beneficial, which give the post more exposure so that more and more people can go through it and get the benefits (especially in my case where I post staying healthy and fit related stuff)?
I don't use bots, so I'm not the person to talk to about it. And, I can understand the effort you put into your work, only to not have it get much results here. Perhaps you should post them on a server like youtube, and wait before sharing them here until you become more acquainted with this community.
