Steemit Original Poem: Thoughts Inside

Here is where I start
Here is where I stop
Here is where I start to think of things that are not

Who is it that I think of
Or maybe better what
For who really knows
What they think in their mindful thoughts

Around and around the mind will spin
Thinking of things that are deep within
What is it that you hide inside
Deep for no one to see

These thought are all inside of us
Yes, even inside you and even me

What is it you hide
Or maybe that you show
Is that smile a lie
That hides your sorrowed soul

Maybe it is happiness
That you hold so dear
So think of smiles and of fun
Yes this will bring you cheer

Back into the thoughts I go
Back into my mind
Back into the places
I feel so comfortable with time

To think of things without a thought
Now that would be just sad
But maybe it will bring us back
To thoughts that make us glad
