Hey guys! #dtubedaily vlog #8 today! How I'm using Steem in real life!

It's obvious that it's so important to keep holding onto that precious Steem and Steem power. It's what fuels the whole platform, the people who use it and it's encouraging the influencers of the future world to keep creating and sharing awesome content every single day.
But every now and again, you have to make it work for you. After all, you put all that hard work in here, building connections and keeping your feed full of great stuff, you deserve to treat yourself!
I mean, I'm not cashing out, by any means, and neither should you. The vast majority of what I earn on this platform is put into my Steem power or held tightly for the foreseeable future. It's going to be worth some big numbers by the years end, and even more next year and the year after. So it would be absolute madness to call it a day and spend what I've been working hard for. So keep saving!
However, I might sneak a little out the backdoor to treat my family and myself. Daily vlogging can be time consuming (until I get better and faster at it) and so is networking, so I'm using a little extra left over Steem that I set aside after my SP is powered up to give that time back to my family in the way of memories. Also, I can make some incredible vlogs and photos while I'm there!

Elveden is literally about 20 mins down he road from me haha. Have a great time! I’ve only been the the Sherwood one so it’ll be good to see what the one closest to me is like!
Haha that is mad! Such a small world that we live so close. I've been Elveden many many times and i've been to Woburn as well. Yeah i'm taking the GoPro swimming today so that will be fun hahah

Sounds hell of awesome. I totally agree with you. There is no point of making money and not spend it. :) we will be watching you on your holidays for sure. We just need to keep working on good content to generate more great content and keep captivating people to stick on this adventure with us. Eheheh and congrats for the 200 subscribers :)
As long as Steem doesn't have credible competition the price might rise further but to me this is all speculation based on nothing. The community makes amazing projects like @Dtube but it'll only work when big whales like @Ned are going to fund those...

It's amazing! I got the same view as yours, invest the majority here back into the community. It's a good thing it's somehow easier to liquidate SBD/STEEM. Here there might be high conversion rate still, since only Bitcoin is widely accepted. But, I'm sure by the time I needed to out some cryptos here, better markets have already emerged.
