Pancake Day, let's eat! (Daily Vlog #44)
Happy Shrove Tuesday! A.k.a 'Pancake Day' here in the UK!
Traditionally this day was celebrated as the start of Lent, hence the pancake treats!
As an American in the UK, I take this holiday seriously, I order in the finest maple syrup and make a batch of giant pancakes every time. But today was different!
I made 44 baby sized pancakes to celebrate my current 44 vlog streak, and I devoured every last one of them! With a full belly and a huge sense of pride, I bring you my epic meal. Completel with baby sized cutlery and my daughter Willow laughing at me making the batter.
Today was amazing, thanks for checking it out. For the record, if I was religious and had to give up something for Lent, I'd give up being unhealthy. So that's what I'm doing. As of tomorrow, the fitness regime begins! Right after I sleep off these pancakes.

So I'll ask it - why the weird way of cooking?
Purely for ease of cooking so many at once! What you didn’t see was my wife cooking normal size pancakes in the pan shortly afterwards. This is the first time I’ve cooked them that way and it felt strange!
