Dahlias

These lovely dahlias are mostly an annual in our area. We're on the edge of zone 3 and 4 so it gets a weeeee bit cold over here. Poor perennials have to be hardy. There are a few varieties I have seen that DO survive however. Every garden season, one of the locals brings in some red dahlia tubers and says here ya go.

So enjoy them while you got them. The varieties can be absolutely gorgeous!
