I decided to finish my video about the @cleanplanet walk of Monday instead of taking a nap or browse the internet while my lunch break.
From edit to edit I become more and more familiar with davinci resolve and I already love it! It is easy to use, every single idea is executable and everything feels so smooth if you configured the program to your needs and resources.
multiple timelines
With this edit I've learned to use multiple timelines. This feature makes my life waaaay easier because I can edit separated scenes in separate timelines. That keeps me away from messing up other scenes, messing the global audio settings and I can add LUTs to the whole scene instead of every single clip within that scene.
future will be exciting
I am thinking about making a series of davinci tutorials because I am so impressed by this "freeware" tool.
Are you interested in such tutorials or are you also just going on youtube for such kind of stuff?

It's hard to believe this powerful tool is free.
@adetorrent I need to look into it.. I use gimp for photography and would love to have a free video editor app to use.. kdenlive is the only other know of.

Hah so you don't eat during ur lunchbreak? :d altho nap is probably healthier to do than to eat :D never heard of davinci editing software but it sounds nice... I'd actually watch ur tutorials...I mean..click thru :D cuz I'm super happy with kdenlive for now :)

Yeah I eat during the lunchbreak but I stay away of the table where everyone is sitting and enjoy my little chilly editing time while eating a sandwich ;) no worries - I am a healthy guy :P

@tibfox good use of a lunch break but I agree make sure you eat too. I need to look into that app.. maybe it would work for me too.. thanks for all the curation over time.. really appreicate it.
