As crypto (or alt coins) become more popular, do you see Alt coins becoming the next leader of digital/crypto-currency, or will Bitcoin reign the most popular?
Bitcoin will be the leader as most known cryptocurrency. Others will become popular only if they have something new to propose, like etherium or lisk. I mean some functionality that bitcoin does not have.
With more exchanges offering Ethereum, and hearing news of a mining company switching from Bitcoin to Ether, it is hard to imagine Bitcoin will continue to be the most valuable coin if it does not want to evolve and grow like many new competitors are willing to do. I have some Bitcoin, I have some Ethereum, and now I have some STEEM. Let's see what the future of the crypto community can offer.
Well, many knows and trust in value of bitcoin. But how may people know about the others? Besides, bitcoin is perceived as means of payment while others crypto in order to survive should provide something more. At last I guess there will be 5-7 most popular cryptocurrency and the others will die.
