Is this Proof that Google Meddled in the Last Presidential Election?

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

In the video below, Tucker Carlson reports on a leaked email which shows that a senior Google employee used company resources to gift the Clinton campaign with a "silent donation." If we look to the rules laid out by the Federal Election Commission, donations from corporations to political candidates are strictly prohibited.

In the email, the Google employee described the silent donation as a "multifaceted approach" taken on by the company to target the Latino vote. It was done in specific swing states to favor a Hillary Clinton presidency. The effort was a success as more Latino’s did end up voting.

However, the program manager was not counting on the fact that 29% of the targeted demographic would vote in favor of Donald Trump. Was 2016 the year that Google decided to "be evil?" Can we even call this evil when it was their own petard that hoisted them?

To be honest, there is schadenfreude to be had here. However, if we sit back and laugh for too long, the midterm elections may fall to the leftists. Now, before you judge left vs. right let’s examine the term leftist as I understand it.

The leftists (not to be confused with classical liberals) have been pushing an anti-freedom agenda. If the left gains a majority control over the legislature, it will threaten America’s reset towards greater liberty and economic prosperity.

This may be the real lead on who meddled with the 2016 elections and how they did it. The Russia tune that these Pied Piper pranksters have been playing has been falling on deaf ears for years now. No one who exercises critical thinking has adopted that narrative with any level of seriousness. It’s turned the left into a joke, perhaps even more so than SJWs have.

Dinesh D'Souza, an author, filmmaker, and political commentator went to jail after giving a handful of straw donors’ money to donate to his favored political candidate. I wonder what would happen to individuals were they to do the same as officers within a limited liability corporation? Would they too suffer a similar fate, or is the corporation at fault? Time will tell.

I never liked D’souza but that does demonstrate a double standard.

The tech companies openly meddled and they continue to meddle which is why we see anti-establishment voices, both liberal and conservative, being censored all over the place while the corporate left and right remain silent about the issue.

I think there is an agenda being pushed but I view it as more a matter of the the existing system trying to protect itself from everyone else but they are using the liberal vs. conservative framing to keep us fighting while the Democrats and Republicans conspire, together, to screw us all over.

I always like to point out that Reagan raised taxes and signed gun control into law and that Obama increased demotic spying and raided more medical marijuana producers and dispensaries than W. did. When we look at the situation it appears like "They" always seem to agree when it comes to taking things away from us.

No doubt, I think most Democrats and Republicans are conspiring to screw us over. I wasn't certain before the election and I'm still not 100% certain now, but I think the difference between a Trump and Hillary victory was enormous in scope.

Trump is very strongly conveying the impression that he's working for America and that he wants to make manifest his MAGA agenda. I'm still skeptical on what he might do after a reelection or with respect to geopolitical warfare, something we should have extracted ourselves from by now.

The guy's not perfect and I don't have any faith in government, but he has been giving people who voted for him good reason to hope that he didn't sell them a lemon. This, unlike Obama's hope which was all style and no substance. Thanks for the feedback @artisticscreech!

To the question in your title, my Magic 8-Ball says:
