Can your cat do this?
This is Goose. I found him on Qianhai Lu (前海路) on New Year's Day (Jan 1). It was 2 degrees C with mixed sleet and rain. I was crossing the street and he was struggling painfully along the gutter on the opposite side. He was cold, starving, shivering, and bony. He managed to make it to my feet as I approached the curb. I looked down, saw him, and instantly thought, "That's the playmate we need for Bubby! (Our first cat)"
When I got home, Bubby came to investigate and hissed angrily as him, which Goose ignored. We fed him with a spoon that day, gave him a bath, and then he curled up on the balcony in a flower pot to sleep, only waking up to eat. He still likes to go back to that spot sometimes and Bubby respects that. But Bubby doesn't like when Goose takes his spots.
Within a few days, he was getting his strength back and started sleeping on the sofa. Gradually he and Bubby made friends and Bubby became a very attentive and caring big brother to him.
A few days after that, my then-fiancee made goose for dinner. As soon as it was on the table Goose leaped up and dove into the goose and tried to haul away a thigh. "My God! He really loves goose!" Thus, we named him Goose.
But cleaning a litter box for two cats was too much of a problem, so we taught them to shit in the toilet. It took months, but they finally got the hang of it. Now we just flush our problems away. Bubby, the smart one, doesn't like it. He thinks too much, but Goose doesn't care.
Nowadays, when Bubby hisses at him, he still ignores it. He just doesn't care. He's not a very smart cat. A lot of times we see him just sitting there looking stupid. I mean, he really is a dolt sometimes. Bubby tried to teach him a new cat game the other day, which we knew well from playing with him. Goose didn't get it. We had to get involved and help. Now he knows it.
But he's fat, affectionate, and warm. Overall a good addition to the household.

Sometimes we all fall asleep together on the sofa.
My persian is an "old school". Hу doesn't use any gadgets. Probably the effect of screamming in this case could be lost.
