Sunset cruising at "work"
A huge perk of driving a boat constantly during summer for about 8-10 hours a day is that you get to watch the sunsets whilst cruising back to the dock. Don't get me wrong, it is cold and usually tired after a long 8+hours of driving around whales and you just want to be home but you do get these moments from time to time.
I was returning after hanging out with members of J Pod - Orca/killer whales and was returning back to Victoria, BC. I looked up and WAMMO a pretty amazing view. This was actually taken on my Gopro - hence the slight lack of sharpness but I love that, as it gives you an idea that I am moving pretty fast, which I was going about 36knots at that point.

Wow, what a life! Thanks for sharing a window into it with us. I get the cold and tired thing though. I guess every rose truly does have its thorn, perhaps to help sharpen out attention to notice the beauty available with it. It can be so easy to see only the thorns and miss the beauty. I want to live in that photo!
Not a problem. Stoked that you enjoyed the picture and I do agree with what you said about the rose and the thorns. Taking a moment is something we all tend to overlook in order to appreciate the moment itself
