Proud and protective parents

I have always stated that as cute as penguins are they smell pretty bad, especially, when in large breeding colonies. However, no matter how bad the smell is, it does kind of disappear when you see small moments like this when two young chicks are in the nest under one of their protective parents care.

Just a couple of cute Gentoo Penguins being cute Gentoo Penguins in the South Shetland Islands, near the Antarctica Peninsula

    I find it hard to believe that as beautiful as penguins look, they also smell very bad. Wow, nothing is really 100% perfect!
