A cute penguin just being a cute penguin
I just walking along Cuverville Island amongst the largest breeding colony of Gentoo penguins on the Antarctic peninsula admiring their adorable fledging stages.
This guy just would not stop staring at me whilst I kept snapping his photo. Another beautiful encounter with a cute little penguin in their natural world.

Around the world there are 17 to 19 penguin species, depending on whether two species of Eudyptula are also counted as species. Although all penguin species originally came from the southern hemisphere, but penguins are not only found in cold regions or in Antarctica alone.
There are three species of penguins living in the tropics. One of the species lives on the Galapagos Islands (Pinguin Galapagos) and usually crosses the equator for feeding.
