Dodger's finally beat Houston
The Los Angeles dodgers salvaged one game out of the three game series with the Houston Astros by a score of 3-2. The game was a nail bitter from beginning to the end. This was a pitcher's duel , with the dodgers righthander Walter Buehler, and the astros Garrett Cole . Buehler went five and one tenth inning giving up two runs on just four scattered hits to get the win. The Astros hurler also went five innings giving up three runs on six hits to take the loss . Newly acquired and most sought after free agent shortstop Manny Machado led the way for the dodgers with three hits and a run scored, Cody Bellinger had two hits and a run batted in for the dodgers. George Springer led off the game for the Astros with a first pitch solo home run. And Tony Kemp also had a solo home run in the fifth inning to account for the Astros two lone runs of the game. The Dodgers travels to Oakland for a two game set with lefthander Rich Hill slated to start against the same team that dealt him to the Dodgers.
