Setting Up For Wordcamp Kota Kinabalu 2019 Event

Setting up for WorldCamp Kota Kinabalu 2019 event is ongoing.

It got me thinking about what public speaking tips and tricks could be applied to giving WordCamp talks, but I’m in no way an expert. I wanted to start thinking more about how to get better at this type of speaking, so I asked several of my WordPress friends for their best advice.

“ You’re not an expert speaker and that’s OK. Don’t compare yourself to people who are and use this as a learning expertise. Some speakers are terribly tutorial, some are terribly magnetic, etc. Embrace the fashion that works best for you.”

What Works For You?
The one issue I learned reprimand folks is most are totally different — they need alternative ways of designing an interview and feeling comfy giving that talk. I favor that common thread during this discussion because it boils all the way down to “be you and be comfy being you.”

If you’re full-fledged with WordCamp talks or speechmaking normally, make certain to share your tips within the comments. And if you’ve never spoken at a WordCamp, there are visiting be lots of them next year, therefore ensure you apply to some.
