My school is my second home. Name of the school is R/ Ananda Maithreya Central College which is situated in Balangoda, Rathnapura District, Sabaragamuwa province of Sri Lanka. It is a mixed school means both male and female student educate. There are class from grade 6 to grade 13. Students in my school can follow their Advanced Level through Science, Commerce and Art streams. There are nearly 2500 students. I went to that school from grade 6 to grade 13. Ananda Maithreya Central College is the best place for me because of I acquire knowledge, experience, sports skills and many more for my life. These all things act as a platform for me to build up my life.

Location
My school teachers do not focus only educational qualification of the students. They do their best to improve ethical behavior of the students as well. They perform hard work to develop each student as best performer in every side. They develop self-confident of the student to face any challenges in the life.
My school has lots of facilities including library, playground, computer labs, lab facilities for science students, etc.
I improve my artistic qualification from my school. Our Music teacher always help me as well as other students to improve our singing and instruments playing skills. I participate many inter-school competitions to show my singing skills and I won many rewords through that competitions.
I think my school is the most beautiful school in the Sabaragamuwa Province. There are many robarosiya trees in my school. In the flowering season trees are covers with flowers, it makes pleasant image for us.
I proved of my school and I like to go again there with my friends. And I like to say again my school is the second home to me.
