SAND BAR IN MACTAN,CEBU

Mactan,Cebu is the most visited place of foreign and local tourist here in the Philippines,because of its beautiful beaches that can mesmerize the tourist,and to experience island hoping.

Today I want to share my first experience of island hoping.

The first time I did island hoping was back 2013,and we visited the Northern Sand Bar in Cebu or also known as Pandanon Island.

Imagine of having an island all to yourself.!!

The North Sand Bar or Pandanon Island is in between Cebu and Bohol!It is located at the east of Mactan and north of mainland Bohol!Pandanon island is a great place for swimming,sunbathing,and other swimming activities.The island also has facilities for playing volleyball,which is my favorite sports!There are some basic facilities on this island including cooking area,cottages,and changing area.

The entrance fee of this island is 150 pesos only.Very affordable right?

Pandanon Island can give you tranquil experience with just 2 and a half hour from the southern part of Mactan.

Pandanon island is good for snorkelling,the island marine area is well protected.So stopping would be a worry free experience for you and for your friends,.!

The Northern Sand Bar is also good for couple who seek their own paradise away from the city or from their groups of friend.Just like what they did!

If you want to visit Pandanon Island just make sure to pack some foods,and you can cook it here.But for me,grilled is the best choice!
