An imagined conversation with my abusive, narcissistic fathersteemCreated with Sketch.

I haven't spoken to my father in over ten years, and I've often imagined how our next conversation may go, if it ever happens. I needed to vent this for a while, but I didn't because it's TMI. I'm doing it anyway, not to be emo or fish for sympathy. My hope is that, if anyone else raised by an abusive, narcissistic parent reads this, it might make them feel less alone and less crazy.

Can you imagine taking your anger out on children this small?

OMG. Are we related?? That was EXACTLY my life. Supposedly catholic family and I dumped religion when I was 18. The spit in the face. SAME THING. Beatings, being locked in my room and the cellar for days on end. LOL The will. He's keeping his millions to himself. My mother gave up protecting me when I was 11. Only difference is my 2 younger bro's NEVER had a hand laid on them, nor had a raised voice towards them. Consider me your long lost sister.
