Updating old articles in the IP Address Guide

It is one thing to produce new material and to write articles. But, then you also have a lot of old articles that really needs to be updated, but it is very easy to forget about them. Often, however, you would actually save a lot of time just freshing up those old and outdated articles, instead of creating brand new content often dealing with the same as those old ones. Not only is it a waste of time and energy, but it is also creating material that might confuse search engines as they do not know which article to show in search results.

Should they show the 5 year old article, or the brand new one? To which articles do you have inbound links and internal links? These will all influence the ranking of an article, and that is why it is often better to update those old articles instead of creating brand new.

But, you also need new content, so that is what makes it all so interesting and time consuming.

Today, I have updated quite a lot of articles in the P Address Guide, but I guess I should produce some new content as well.. What do you think?
