I feel like giving up on the rebase tokens

in #rebase2 years ago

So we have seen a red week for all in the crypto world, and for the first time in almost two months, every single rebase tokens ended up with red numbers. I still trust and believe in a couple of the projects, but to be honest, I feel more like giving up on all of them and just do something else instead.

No only because they are performing in a very poor way, but also because the hype is completely gone and nobody cares about the rebase tokens anymore.

Of course, the hype is gone and the prices are in red. But, if we compare the prices of for example HEctor Finance with those of Avalanche, Solana, and other big names, then we might see that Hector Finance hasn't dropped more than the big names. So, that is actually a quite good performance. But, most of the tokens are falling like an apple from a tree, crashing towards the ground.

Between April 27th and May 4th

In the period mentioned above, you can see in this article that all of the rebase tokens ended up producing negative numbers. That is quite depressing, and I once again felt like abandoning even the experiment, just because it feels so stupid and bad with most tokens doing poorly and because there is no interesting in general for those projects and the rebase token concept.

Will I abandon the experiment? Not just yet. The thing is, if the market should turn bullish again, I do expect projects like OHM and HEC to turn around, and then they might actually end up producing some nice numbers in the end. I know they are doing the opposite at the moment, but I do have a hope for these projects at least.

Do you have any expectations for the rebase tokens and their future?
