[ Hearthstone ] Arena Draft: Warrior Part 1- Draft the Deck
Picking a Deck in the Arena Play is similar to playing Magic The Gathering Competitively.
I played on the MTG Pro Tour for the USA Team in 1995 as an alternate and ended up winning 4th in the worlds team games.
Picking Draft Decks in Hearthstone bears similar characteristics as well when picking a deck…
Lets build a deck together using my Deck Strategy of picking cards and see how far we get.
Rule 1:
Always take Creature Removal First.… there are very few exceptions to this.
Exception 1: Global effects that do damage to players and creatures.
Card games are based on a law of averages. Its all about having more resources faster. weather it is more cards, more life, more creatures, etc… but hearthstone is driven by creatures to survive.
Rule 2: If no removal exists, Select creatures with dual abilities. Are they a good creature, and have a stat that is useful, bear a creature type that is usable, or have something unique to provide an edge.
Rule 3: If neither exist consider the following
• shares a card type
• ability to deal creature damage
• does direct damage
• allows card draw
• Annoys the shit out of your opponent (Getting the Rage Quit) is always the best feeling lol...
Rule 4: Personal preferences
• not a fan of creature enchantments
• not a fan of life gain
• not a fan of long shot combo abilities
Rule 5: Remember you have a special ability that allows tempo in the game. This helps speed up or slow down the timing of your deck.

The deck looks pretty reasonable. It would be great if you plugged in the mic and talked through some of the closer picks. As a fellow Hearthstone player you might be interested in my Hearthstone Article Competiton.
A few of these definitely didn’t get sound but most of them 90% of them do and most of the recent ones do. That’s a good idea to talk in the mic about it too i didn’t think of that
