First Sin & The Christmas Tree

The fruit of knowledge is that of yourself as the ego, in Latin means I am, hence is the way out of the Garden of Eden, the Centre in Buddhism, where only God and God's good souls reside. The Eden incident in Genesis is referring to the freedom to choose between the Will of God vs one's own will.

Eve, as the story goes, was first to become self aware via consuming the Fruit of Knowledge (of her ego) in the Garden of Eden, hence the Eve of the First Sin -- becoming "I am" with the soul's freedom to choose.
