... Or cold to you, or ignoring you, or shutting you out, or trying to beat you, or break you... it's because they are scared. The homo sapien ego is amazingly adept at picking out perceived threats and forming defences to protect you. In fact all it's doing is protecting itself.
We have egos for a reason - they have protected us throughout history. But we are not at risk of predators like we used to be in the stone age. You can be happy in the knowledge that you are safe, even in the most adverse situations, because if you can observe and begin to see through fear, you are left with only love. And love is the voice of God.
