The real question is which of the following two things is more foolish?
Giving an unstable crazy person a 4 year $98 million contract.
Two years into a 4 year $98 million contract with and unstable crazy person, saying this about the unstable crazy person:
"By the time we got to the playoffs I don’t think he was ready. He wasn’t in great shape. He wasn’t fully conditioned for a playoff battle mentally."
Hmmm I think it is too close to call. Luckily we don't have to decide. We can just enjoy the fact that Pat Riley is stupid.
