Where to eat #1: How I spend my Saturdays: Craft coffee in town

in #lifestyle8 years ago (edited)

I love the weekends! Nothing is more relaxing than going to the farmers market, buy some flowers and enjoy a good cup of coffee while catching up with friends. Together with a friend I had one of those days. The plan was to go for Dutch mini pancakes (which, you should know, are quite the delicious tasting), but I had a craving for coffee as well. I had one of those moods where you can eat like a horse and a bear at the same time. But I needed a good coffee, not one of those regular coffees which leaves you empty, wondering where your soul has gone. Life is too short to waste on tasteless garbage. No, I needed a proper coffee, one that revitalizes every sleeping cell in your body.

So the search began. After walking half a marathon I started losing hope. But then! My spider senses started tingling by a cute little place across the street. Noc Noc was there to the rescue. This was just the right shop I was looking for. Upon opening the door I knew directly: Great Coffee. Mega hipster place, but awesome laid back vibe and amazing coffee. Service, like you expect from these kind of places, is super relaxed.

Naturally I had to get my share of banana cake and almond-fig cake as well. Certainly a recommendation for when you are in Rotterdam. Are you going to try this place as well? Let me know about your experiences!
