My dread locs journey

Good day everyone.... So,I’m the type of person that likes to explore, I do not like boring things and I’m also adventurous. I had always thought about doing something not regular to my hair and then I decided to do dreads and dye my hair. So let me show you how it went.

I woke up very early, like I’m ready oooo, I’m ready and today I must do this. I had already spoken to a guy at Tejuosho complex in Yaba market (lagos), someone had referred him and told me he was good, so I had spoken to him on the phone and we had talked about it, so off I went to his salon.Lol

When I got there, I chose a color, I had wanted to do ginger color initially but I couldn’t really get the dye so I went for color wine instead. He applied the dye to my hair and I had to carry it for 30 minutes and then washed it. After washing it, the hair stylist started doing the locs.

It was a little painful, and I started to feel sleepy later on, and the worst part, the light went off because there was an issue. I was so hot but eventually it was fixed, thank God.. Lol.
So after everything, the stylist finished and viola! I was a girl on dreads but I was still wondering if this is how I’ll carry it coz it looked a bit strange...

But then I had to go into the dryer, it was really hot , I felt my ears were burning....

And then I came out of the dryer and he styled my hair and that’s how I became a girl on dreads, lol. I’m really loving my new hair style, if you are looking to try something different and daring , you can also do this...

People have been saying the hair looks good on me, I’m happy I did it..
