Thank a farmer

Well were are thankfully all done harvest for the year but as the weather changes quiet a lot year to year it get harder and harder to get the fields off. I don't necessarily believe in global warming but can say the weather has changed a lot in our area where we get a lot more rain in the fall usually straight into snow which makes all crops basically become feed quality and not usable for food. This is a scary subject that people don't realize because without good crops the farmers will start to drop off and quit producing. This will increase prices to unaffordable amounts and with growing population it will eventually reach a point where there will be little to no resources. I may be being a little extreme but I do see this trend coming and hopefully things balance out. But the next time you see a farmer please thank him/her as they take the risk every year to provide food for the world, I do realize they make money of it but without them there is no food unless your self sustainable on your own farm.
