Walk With Me in the Neighbourhood

We finally got out for another walk yesterday! My husband was trying to convince me to name this post 'the walk from hell that never ended' but I like to try and stay a bit more positive ;p
(But it did seem like it would never end!! LoL)

We set off from our house, where we just had the sidewalks and road replaced so it looks pretty clean and smooth. (What a kerfuffle that's been though!)

We went through the back alleys looking for some apples that may stretch out over the fences but unfortunately the frost beat us to them and they had gone rotten :(

We headed for the park so the kids could play for a bit. My little girl found some trash to feed the garbage can :)

Then we left there and started collecting leaves for an art class myself and another homeschool mom have put together for today. We plan to use the leaves for a few different crafts, one of which is to make a wreath. My son and I made one last year and gave it to his nanny, she loved it and it's still hanging in her house.

After that is when the kids got tired. It was not fun. LoL
We carried them most of the way home from there. For sure taking the wagon next time!

We will go walking again, it was nice to get out, this summer has kept us quite busy so even an evening walk was impossible!

I hope more people get inspired to take a walk :)
