If programming languages were building materials, what would each programming language be?

Java - Bricks. Solid, stood the test of time, but not very interesting.

Swift - Wood. Great, flexible, easy to work with, but not suitable for all environments.

C - Sand, water, mud. Make your own frickin’ bricks!

JavaScript - Ice blocks and semi-molten lava, see how that works…

Python - LEGO, great to get started with, but build a whole house with it…?

Perl - Nails and $*(.\//~)
