Fun Passover Music
Ok, I know my husband, @jal627, is going to roll his eyes when I tell him about this post, but I like fun parody songs. It all started back over a decade ago when "Baby Got Book" came out on the Christian radio station. I liked listening to old school rap music and sometimes it's hard to get those lyrics out of your head after you've been rapping them for years. This fun parody helped me exchange the old lyrics in my mind to something a bit more appropriate.
Anyway, we have been keeping Passover for three years now and while I was cleaning the yeast out of my house the first year I looked on YouTube to find some fun jams to help me clean. I stumbled across these parodies and even though we are not Jewish, I still enjoyed learning and dancing to them. So, as we are preparing yet again for Passover I thought I would share with you some of the jams I have been enjoying as we are planning and preparing for Passover. My kids even enjoy listening to them and it has really helped them remember the plagues and the history of Passover and Unleavened Bread.
These songs are all created by the group Six13, which are an a cappella group. In addition to having a thing for parodies, I also really enjoy the a cappella movement as well.
