Dallas Fed President: DO NOT Cut Rates
Markets have priced in 3 rate cuts in 2019, meaning money will flow a lot easier by 2020, if that actually happens. We’ve seen the repeated calls for easing from everyone down the line and yet, there doesn’t seem to be any particular reason to do so, based on the statistics they use. The Dallas Fed president actually came out and suggested this very thing. A preemptive cut is a bad idea and will lead to irrational exuberance 2.0. Let’s take a closer look.
