Art in Nature is Not Subjective but A Survival of the Fittest

in #art8 years ago (edited)

Art is defined in many ways.  Here, we define art as everything we see, hear, touch, taste and smell whether in nature or physically designed which causes us to react in some form.

The moment we are born, our aesthetics is an indicator whether or not we are born healthy.  We look at color and count digits.

We listen to the sound a baby makes to check upon his or her needs.  The sound of a mother's voice can calm a baby down.  The art of music by Mozart can also help calm a baby's environment.

Instinctively, a baby can smell a mother's breast milk and veers towards her breast.  Just as adults start to salivate at the thoughts of warm and inviting thanksgiving dinner.

We notice a plump fruit embodying the golden ratio.  Without an lessons, we instinctively know this plump fruit will nourish us.  The rotten fruit below and it's pungent smell is something to stay away from.

It's with this knowledge that art is also the survival of the fittest.  We know what to look for when we really look within ourselves.  Our perceptions help us uncover how healthy we are by observing the environment of our bodies and our outer environment.

We are instantly born into judgement based on cultural viewpoints of how things should be, feel, and look.

We like to tell ourselves art is subjective.  Perhaps maybe to lessen the pain of what we believe to not be as beautiful or excellent.  However, by understanding the art of nature can we learn how to benefit mentally and physically.
