What Makes Me Happy #4 - Long Talks
I'm honestly not too fond of talking over the phone. It's actually a rare thing for me to want to talk because of my almost inaudible voice and my lack of articulation when it comes to talking. However, there are certain cases or maybe certain (very few) people who makes me feel comfortable talking over the phone.
In a way, it makes me happy because talking with these people I'm very comfortable with makes me feel comfortable doing something I'm not too comfortable with doing. If that even makes sense. LOL.
People in this list include:
My mom - she usually just updates me about a Chinese or Taiwanese drama she'll be watching because she knows I'm more into those than Korean dramas
My dad - we barely talk, but when we do it's almost always work related, kinda makes me feel like a responsible daughter even when I'm just a lazy ass person
My older sister - we don't always talk over the phone, but when we do she gives me some juicy scoops about her blooming love life
My best friend - the usual how are you, updates about life and anything goes
A few close friends - it's hard to point them one by one but there are a few I'm very comfortable with, and our conversations are usually nonsensical but it puts a smile on my face
Maybe soon, a special someone will be added on that list? Haha! Who am I kidding? That's way too far-fetched! 😅
thanks for sharing this interesting tidbit about you. I used to talk a lot over the phone when I was younger. But ever since I got married, I seldom do it anymore since the wifey always asked who I was talking XD Maybe I should stop going to another room just to answer the phone so that it won't appear conspicous XD

who knows sis? don't close your doors hahaha. I can get socially awkward too even during phone calls but whenever i'm talking to a close friend or someone I dearly love, my inner talkative self comes out 😂
