That sucks people drive drunk there. It's super dangerous.
Good for you for being responsible. You could have saved someone's life that night, maybe your own. It's better to take a cab or to walk. Although don't walk in the road. ;)
I live in a small town, there aren't that many cars late at night xD Still, you are right, just a few weeks ago we had a college party where everyone went too, one of my friends decided to get in a car with a drunk/high driver... guess what happened, the guy flipped the car and she had to have surgery, she lost 1 year of college all thanks to that...
Man, I'm really sorry to hear that. It's a tough thing to have happen. Sometimes it's amazing to me that so many youth actually survive to adulthood. Hopefully your friend improves quickly.
